COUNTY HIGHWAY COMMITTEE

a.)                            Resolution #R2006-08:  Recommending the Denial of Moose Range Road Name Change.  Request to change the name of Moose Range Road to Charter Grove Road.  Committee Action:  Moved by Mr. Faivre, seconded by Mr. Anderson, and it was carried to deny the request to change the name of Moose Range Road and to forward this recommendation to the full board for consideration.  There was a role call vote where Mr. Anderson, Mr. Faivre, Mr. Gudmunson, Ms. LaVigne and Mr. Whelan voted yes.  Ms. Fauci voted no.

b.)                            Resolution #R2006-09:  Bid Award for Two Tandem Trucks.  Request bids for the replacement of two tandem cab and chassis.  Bid awarded to low bidder, TransChicago Truck Group for $121,714.00 or $60,857 per truck..  Committee Action:  Moved by Mr. Faivre, seconded by Mr. Whelan, and it was carried unanimously to forward the proposed bid to the full board for approval.

LAW AND JUSTICE COMMITTEE

Ordinance #2006-04: Child Support Fee.  To adopt the provisions of 705 ILCS 105/27.1a(bb)(4) nunc pro tunc as authorized by Public Act 87-670 effective January 1, 1992, to collect an annual fee of up to $36 from the person making child support payments for the purpose of maintaining the child support records and processing support orders.  Committee Action:  Moved by Ms. LaVigne, seconded by Ms. Turner, and it was carried unanimously to forward the recommendation to the full board for approval.
