Property Assessment Publication

2007 is a General Reassessment Year, and by statute, all assessments must be published.    In the assessment listing, the parcel number and current assessment are printed above the property owner’s name.

All assessments for Sandwich Township were published in the Sandwich Record and available on the DeKalb County website on October 31, 2007.   Complaint forms for Sandwich Township properties are due in the Supervisor of Assessments Office on Friday, November 30, 2007 by 4:30 p.m. or postmarked no later than November 30, 2007.

Assessments for all other townships were published in the Midweek Newspaper and available on the DeKalb County website on November 14, 2007.   Complaints forms for these townships are due in the Supervisor of Assessments Office on Friday, December 14, 2007 by 4:30 p.m. or postmarked no later than December 14, 2007.

Notices were mailed to only those parcels that had individual assessment changes.  No notice was mailed if your parcel received only a township multiplier (equalization factor).

If after consulting with your assessor, you wish to file a complaint, please contact the Supervisor of Assessments at 815-895-7120.  The Supervisor of Assessments office is located in the Administration Building 4^th Floor, 110 E. Sycamore St. Sycamore, IL.
