In particular, The Information Management Office advises anyone wishing to view and query various maps and data that any parcel of real estate showing the symbol of an X within a box (x) is a tentative parcel until the Supervisor of Assessment's Office has finalized that particular mapping change.  A parcel showing that symbol should not be considered an official parcel until the symbol is removed.  Further, there may be additional changes made through the end of the year in question if future documents change the legal description of the current parcel.
