Tuberculosis
The program provides services to prevent the spread of tuberculosis.
TB testing and screening for adults and children (with written parental consent) is provided Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 am to noon and 1:00 to 4:00 pm. TB skin testing is not provided on Thursdays. No appointment is necessary. Those with latent and active TB infections can receive consultation, including medication.

Fees vary depending on services. Please check with the staff. Itemized receipts are provided and you may submit them to your private insurance. Medicare and Medicaid are billed when applicable. Payment is required at the time of service, and can be made by cash, checks and credit/debit cards with valid identification.
Most of the services provided in the Communicable Disease program are for residents of DeKalb County, unless otherwise noted.

Q: Do you provide Quantiferon Gold testing?
A: No, but the test is available at an outside lab, and we can assist you to get the test if it is clinically indicated.

A: It depends on your employment and other factors. Please check with the staff.
