The Finance Committee of the DeKalb County Board met Wednesday, October 12, 2004 at 7:00 p.m. at the DeKalb County Government Legislative Building Liberty Room. Chairperson Jeff Whelan called the meeting to order. Mr. Augsburger, Ms. Sue Leifheit, Mr. Dennis Sands, Ms. Ruth Anne Tobias, were present to make a quorum. Mr. Mike Haines was absent. Also present Mr. Gary Hanson, Deputy Sheriff Kevin Hickey, Mr. Jeff Metzger, and Sheriff Roger Scott.


YEAR END BUDGET TRANSFERS
Chairman Whelan invited Mr. Hanson to speak. Mr. Hanson distributed a handout listing 1) Transfers Within a Department and 2) Additional Appropriation To a Department (A copy of which is attached to these minutes as Appendage 1). Mr. Hanson highlighted those of most interest.

Ms. Tobias moved to send the FY 2005 Budget Transfers to the full county board, seconded by Mr. Sands. Motion carried unanimously.

After a brief discussion, and having all questions answered to their satisfaction, the meeting concluded at 7:11 p.m.

Ms. Tobias moved to adjourn the meeting and was seconded by Mr. Augsburger. Motion carried unanimously.
