The DeKalb County Forest Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center on Wednesday, May 18, 2005. Vice President Sands called the meeting to order and the Clerk called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Mrs. Allen, Mr. Anderson, Ms. De Fauw, Mrs. Dubin, Steve Faivre, Vince Faivre, Ms. Fauci, Ms. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Ms. LaVigne, Mrs. Leifheit, Mr. Lyle, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Slack, Mr. Steimel, Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan and Vice President Sands. Those Commissioners absent were Mr. Johnson, President Tobias, Mrs. Turner and Mr. Van Buer. Twenty Commissioners were present and four Commissioners were absent.

APPROVAL OF MINUTES

Motion

Ms. Vary moved to approve the Minutes of the April 20, 2005 meeting. Mr. Rosemier seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

The Vice President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA

Motion

Ms. Fauci moved to approve the agenda and Mr. Metzger seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

The Vice President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Agenda. All Commissioners present voted yea.

BUSINESS

Claims

Ms. Fauci moved to approve the current months Claims in the amount of $30,414.51 and Payroll & Emergency Claims paid from prior month in the amount of $21,501.80. Vince Faivre seconded the motion.

Roll Call Vote

The Vice President called for a roll call vote on the Claims.. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mrs. Allen, Mr. Anderson, Ms. De Fauw, Mrs. Dubin, Steve Faivre, Vince Faivre, Ms. Fauci, Ms. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Ms. LaVigne, Mrs. Leifheit, Mr. Lyle, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Slack, Mr. Steimel, Ms. Vary, Mr. Whelan and Vice President Sands. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

OLD BUSINESS / NEW BUSINESS

There were no items of new or old business for this meeting.

ADJOURNMENT

Motion

Mr. Metzger moved to adjourn the meeting. Ms. Vary seconded the motion.

Voice Vote

The Vice President asked for a voice vote on the motion to adjourn. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
