The DeKalb County Forest Preserve District Commissioners met in regular session
at the Legislative Center on Wednesday, January 16, 2008. Chairman Tobias
called the meeting to order and the Clerk called the roll. Those Commissioners
present were Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen, Larry Anderson, Mr. Augsburger, Ms. De
Fauw, Mrs. Dubin, Ms. Fauci, Ms. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr.
Lyle, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Stoddard, Mr. Stuckert, Mrs.
Turner, Ms. Vary, Mr. Walt and Chairman Tobias. Those Commissioners absent were
Mr. Faivre, Mr. Haines, Ms. LaVigne and Mr. Steimel. Twenty Commissioners were
present and four Commissioners were absent. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Mr. Lyle moved to approve the Minutes of the December 19, 2007 meeting. Ms. Fauci seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion Ms. Vary moved to approve the Agenda and Ms. Fauci seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Agenda. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. BUSINESS Claims Ms. Fauci moved to approve the current months Claims in the amount of $31,621.92; Emergency Claims in the amount of $1,345.94 and Payroll Charges in the amount of $26,125.77 representing current claims and monies paid during the previous month that were no part of last month’s report, totaling $59, 093.63. Mr. Rosemier seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote The President called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mrs. Allen, Ken Andersen, Larry Anderson, Mr. Augsburger, Ms. De Fauw, Mrs. Dubin, Ms. Fauci, Ms. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Hulseberg, Mr. Lyle, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Stoddard, Mr. Stuckert, Mrs. Turner, Ms. Vary, Mr. Walt and Chairman Tobias. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS / NEW BUSINESS There were no items for old business / new business at this meeting. ADJOURNMENT Motion Mrs. Turner moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Hulseberg seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the motion. All Commissioners present voted yea.
