	Minutes of the Forest Preserve District Proceedings January 16, 2002

The DeKalb County Forest Preserve Commissioners met at the DeKalb County Courthouse on Wednesday, January 16, 2002. President Pritchard called the Meeting to order and the Secretary called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Mr. Wilson, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Steimel, Mr. Smith, Mr. Simonson, Mr. Metzger, Mr. McLaughlin, Mrs. Leifheit, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Hutcheson, Mr. Hoffman, Mr. Haines, Mrs. Dubin, Mr. Dlabal, Dr. Conway, Mrs. Casella, Mr. Barr, Mrs. Allen and President Pritchard. Those Commissioners absent were Mr. Sands, Mr. Morreale, Mr. Lyle, Mr. Guehler and Mr. Brown. Nineteen Commissioners were present and five Commissioners were absent.

Mr. Haines moved to approve the Minutes of the December 19, 2001 meeting. Mrs. Casella seconded the motion.

The President called for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Mr. Hoffman moved to approve the agenda and Mr. Dlabal seconded the motion.

The President called for a voice vote on the approval of the Agenda. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Mr. Dlabal moved to approve the current months Claims in the amount of $17,154.48 and Payroll & Emergency Claims paid from prior month in the amount of $19,200.69. Mrs. Tobias seconded the motion.

The President called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mr. Wilson, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Steimel, Mr. Smith, Mr. Simonson, Mr. Metzger, Mr. McLaughlin, Mrs. Leifheit, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Hutcheson, Mr. Hoffman, Mr. Haines, Mrs. Dubin, Mr. Dlabal, Dr. Conway, Mrs. Casella, Mr. Barr, Mrs. Allen and President Pritchard. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.

 

Mr. Dlabal spoke about the upcoming Winterfest on January 19^th and 20^th at Russell’s Woods in Genoa.

Mr. Metzger moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Wilson seconded the motion.

The President called for a voice vote on the motion to adjourn. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
