Mr.

to close the deal. The County would purchase the property for $126,175.00 and
the sellers would be responsible for the prior year’s taxes. The County will
close on the deal on February 2, 2004 and that the seller’s can stay in the home
until April 1, 2004. Mr. Bockman further stated that this is right about 5%
over the fair cash value and is a fair price.
Mr.
Wilson asked if the sellers would need to have casualty and liability insurance
while they are living in the home after the county purchases it? Mr. Bockman
said that the County could add them to the county’s insurance plan.
Moved by Mr. Wilson, seconded by Ms. Tobias, and it was carried unanimously to
accept the recommendation and to forward it to the full board for approval.
Moved
