The DeKalb County Forest Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center on Wednesday, October 20, 2004. County Clerk Sharon Holmes called the meeting to order and called the roll. President Sands called the meeting to order and the Clerk called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Mrs. Allen, Ms. DeFauw, Mrs. Dubin, Steve Faivre, Vince Faivre, Ms. Fauci, Ms. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Johnson, Ms. LaVigne, Mrs. Leifheit, Mr. Lyle, Mr. MacMurdo, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Slack, Mr. Steimel, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Van Buer, Ms. Vary, Mr. Wiegand, Mr. Wilson and Chairman Sands. All twenty-four Commissioners were present. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Mr. Metzger moved to approve the Minutes of the September 15, 2004 Meeting. Mr. Slack seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion Mrs. Allen moved to approve the agenda and Ms. Fauci seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Agenda. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. BUSINESS Resolution R2004-69: To Place the FY2005 Budget on File for Public Inspection Motion Mr. Metzger moved to approve a Resolution to place on file in the DeKalb County Clerk’s Office, and on the county internet site, and at two other geographically diverse public offices (the Sandwich City hall and the office of the Genoa City Clerk) for public inspection the attached budget and levy, as well as, copies of all information utilized by the committees in preparation of the 2005 Fiscal Year Budget. Mr. Johnson seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the Resolution. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
Claims Mr. Metzger moved to approve the current months Claims in the amount of $19,445.61 and Payroll & Emergency Claims paid from prior month in the amount of $22,472.54. Mr. Wiegand seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote The President called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mrs. Allen, Ms. DeFauw, Mrs. Dubin, Steve Faivre, Vince Faivre, Ms. Fauci, Ms. Fullerton, Mr. Gudmunson, Mr. Johnson, Ms. LaVigne, Mrs. Leifheit, Mr. Lyle, Mr. MacMurdo, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Slack, Mr. Steimel, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Van Buer, Ms. Vary, Mr. Wiegand, Mr. Wilson and Chairman Sands. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS / NEW BUSINESS There wer4e no items of new or old business for this meeting. ADJOURNMENT Motion Ms. Fullerton moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Lyle seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the motion to adjourn. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
