The DeKalb County Forest Commissioners met in regular session at the Legislative Center on Wednesday, December 15, 2004. The President called the meeting to order and the Clerk called the roll. Those Commissioners present were Mr. Whelan, Ms. Vary, Mr. Van Buer, Mrs. Turner, Mrs. Tobias, Mr. Steimel, Mr. Slack, Mr. Sands, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Lyle, Mrs. Leifheit, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Gudmunson, Ms. Fullerton, Ms. Fauci, Vince Faivre, Steve Faivre, Mrs. Dubin, Ms. De Fauw, Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Allen. Twenty-four Commissioners were present. APPROVAL OF MINUTES Motion Mr. Rosemier moved to approve the Minutes of the November 17, 2004 meeting. Mr. Whelan seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Minutes. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Motion President Sands moved to approve the amended Agenda to elect the President and Vice President to be the same as Chairman and Vice Chairman of the County Board. Ms. Fauci seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the approval of the Agenda. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. Motion to Elect Ms. Fauci moved to elect Mrs. Tobias as President. Ms. Vary seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the motion to elect Mrs. Tobias for President. All Members voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. Motion to Elect Mr. Rosemier moved to elect Mr. Sands as Vice President. Mr. Van Buer seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the motion to elect Mr. Sands for Vice President. All Members voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. BUSINESS Claims Ms. Fauci moved to approve the current months Claims in the amount of $7,534.23 and Payroll & Emergency Claims paid from prior month in the amount of $25,491.13. Ms. Fullerton seconded the motion. Roll Call Vote The President called for a roll call vote on the Claims. Those Commissioners voting yea were Mr. Whelan, Ms. Vary, Mr. Van Buer, Mrs. Turner, Mr. Steimel, Mr. Slack. Mr. Sands, Mr. Rosemier, Mr. Osborne, Mr. Metzger, Mr. Lyle, Mrs. Leifheit, Ms. LaVigne, Mr. Johnson, Mr. Gudmunson, Ms. Fullerton, Ms. Fauci, Vince Faivre, Steve Faivre, Mrs. Dubin, Ms. De Fauw, Mr. Anderson, Mrs. Allen and President Tobias. All Commissioners voted yea. Motion carried unanimously. OLD BUSINESS / NEW BUSINESS There were no items of new or old business for this meeting. ADJOURNMENT Motion Mr. Johnson moved to adjourn the meeting. Mr. Whelan seconded the motion. Voice Vote The President asked for a voice vote on the motion to adjourn. All Commissioners present voted yea. Motion carried unanimously.
