R E S O L U T I O N

                    WHEREAS, the several duties of the County Engineer are directly connected with the

application of Motor Fuel Tax funds allotted to DeKalb County under the Motor Fuel Tax laws,

and

                    WHEREAS, the Public Infrastructure & Development Committee of the DeKalb County

Board deems it advisable that the County Engineer’s salary be paid from DeKalb County’s

allotment of Motor Fuel Tax funds;

                    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the DeKalb County Board that it does appropriate eighty-one thousand two hundred eighty-six dollars and forty cents ($81,286.40) be hereby appropriated for payment of the County Engineer’s salary for the period January 1, 2002 thru December 31, 2002.

                    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk is directed to transmit two (2) certified copies of this resolution to Mr. Roger Rocke, District Engineer of the Illinois Department of Transportation at Dixon, Illinois.
