We are blessed with an
incredible amount of community involvement in the forms of civic groups,
schools, and talented individuals who provide our facility with additional
entertainment and social opportunities. A point of nostalgia is our Ice
Cream Parlor for the enjoyment and pleasure of our residents,
families, and visitors.
Each year volunteers
donate over
hours in service to our senior citizens!

Special Auxiliary
Projects
Peddler Shop: The Auxiliary sponsors a small shop just off the main
lobby area. Small items are sold to residents and guests.
Peddler Cart: A cart holding items which appeal to wants or needs of
residents is taken to each corridor on a regular basis. This serves those who
are unable to go to the Shop.
Over the years the Auxiliary has been able to provide the Home with many
items which could not be included in the Home’s budget. The latest
contribution in 2001 was a canopy for the Memory Path Courtyard to provide shade
for residents during the hot summer days.
In 2002 the Auxiliary will have a "Bakeless Bake Sale" as its main
money making project.
