Somonauk Summer Fest
This first annual three day event takes place
in the Village of Somonauk July 25-27, 2008 and will continue annually the
last weekend in July. Sign-up for Volleyball, Horse Shoe and Bean Bag
tournaments is going on now. There are many first time events to enjoy
including an ISP Truck and Tractor Pull, beer garden and live music. Call
Somonauk Village Hall at 815-498-3500 for info and tournament
applications.

Sandwich Fair
This annual five-day event in the City of Sandwich starts on the Wednesday
immediately following Labor Day and runs through Sunday evening. The

Illinois State Fair
The fair is “family-friendly”, and throughout the 10-day fair (normally in
August), each day will spotlight a different focus, including: county fairs,
local officials, veterans, senior citizens, youth, park districts,
families/violence prevention, and agriculture. |

This annual event is held the last full weekend of October in the
City of Sycamore.
